Delete your Aura account
This page explains how to delete your account for Aura Meetings
(the Aura meeting service, developed by JDG Productions) and what happens to
your information when you do.
Option 1: Delete it yourself in Aura (immediate)
- Sign in to Aura at aura.joedgreen.com or in the Aura Meetings app.
- Open Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted right away.
Option 2: Ask us to delete it by email
- Send an email to joe.derrick.green@gmail.com
from the email address on your Aura account, saying you want your account deleted.
- We verify the request came from the account's email address and delete the
account, normally within a few days.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, display name, and password hash.
- Your scheduled meetings, meeting settings, and room preferences.
- Recordings stored on Aura's server for meetings you hosted. (These are
deleted when your account is deleted; even without deletion, every recording
is automatically deleted from the server at most 30 days after it was made.)
What cannot be recalled
If a recording or meeting notes were emailed to you or to other meeting
participants, those copies sit in the recipients' own email inboxes and cannot
be pulled back. Deleting your account removes everything stored on Aura's
server under your account. Aura does not sell anyone's information, and no
information is kept after deletion for advertising or analytics — Aura has none.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can delete individual recordings from your My Recordings
list at any time without deleting your account, and you can email
joe.derrick.green@gmail.com to ask for specific information to be deleted.
